The Queensland Funkart Club is the home of fun karting.
We race the coolest little karts on the planet, starting from Juniors at age 8 to 15, then Seniors 15 and over.
Funkarts are light, simple and great to race, with our own spec Honda GX200 engine (Powermax GX200) producing around 10hp, they are very reliable and low maintenance.

FUNKART – ABOUT US
Go Karting, a history of fun. A sport derived from a simple 4 wheel kart with a basic motor to provide the purest form of fun and racing.
As the time has passed over the years, as with all things, karting has grown, got more serious, more technical and more expensive.
Founder of Funkart Global Racing, Raymond Harrison has chosen an era of karting to base a new karting formula, a bygone era that was still exremelly simple and fun, but also hosted world competition, this was the late 60’s to early 70’s, a simple light weight kart with small wheels and really fun to drive and compete. Well a new modern version of these karts is back in the form of the new Funkart concept, light, simple, fun and powered by Honda, it’s very reliable and easy to maintain.
Queensland Funkart Club Inc have adopted the Funkart Global Racing Sporting and Technical rules for Funkart activities and competition that includes sprint races, handicap races and endurance races, providing a platform in the modern karting era based on a time in karting that was simple and fun, and that is our platform – Simply Fun Karting.
